This card is from the first set of Poker Trading Cards ever produced. It was released in 2006 by Razor Poker. It is one of 76 cards from the base set.

Card Back

Juan Carlos Mortensen started his poker career at a private poker club in Spain. After mastering the local games, he decided to try his luck at the American competition. In 2000, he played in his second WSOP, placing 7th in a No-Limit Hold'em event and 69th in the championship event. The very next year, Mortensen became the 2001 World Series of Poker champion, winning $1.5 million. He is one of the very few players that have a WSOP Main Event Championship and a World Poker Tour title.

Card Series

In October 2006 Razor Entertainment LLC announced the debut of the first-ever poker trading cards collectible set. This inaugural set of Poker Trading Cards consisted of a Base Set of 76 unsigned cards and a Showdown Signature/Autograph set of 43 cards. The cards were sold in packages of 6 with 24 packages per box and 12 boxes per case. On average the packages sold for approximately $3.99.
